It is difficult for senior school students to imagine what their lives will be like in ten years’ time but that longer view is what is required when approaching Year 12. Thinking well ahead to possible careers is not only necessary so that correct course decisions can be made at school and university but is also a great motivator.
There has to be a reason for putting in the necessary effort to win excellent results and that reason is simply that good Year 12 results are the first big step to a happy and fulfilling life through a great career.
Bad subject choices at Year 10 can greatly limit life choices and poor results can further restrict those choices.
"IC. Education"aims to inform students about making the correct choices and then support those students to realise their true potential in those Year 12 subjects. Anyone can improve through good tutoring and gaining just three extra marks will boost the ATAR by one entire rank.
Remember that a student who manages just 39 (78%) in the right subjects can gain an ATAR of over 98: it is not impossible to do very well.
